The Graduation Planner in PowerSchool is set to the Newark Public School District Graduation Policy
The Graduation Progress page displays the student’s progress for a four-year graduation plan. Progress is indicated by the use of a color-coded bar.
Dark green indicates earned credits | |
Light green indicates currently enrolled credits | |
Yellow indicates requested/planned credits | |
5 | White with credit value indicates still required |
✓ | A green check mark indicates that a requirement has been completely satisfied with earned credits |

A. Graduation Progress Summary
How to View the Graduation Plan Progress for a Group of Students
- On the start page, search for and select a group of students. The most common group is all 12 grade students.
- Choose Graduation Progress Summary from the Select a Function for this group of students from the drop down menu.
- Click 2014 and Beyond from the Plan Version to Display field
- Click SUBMIT
B. Individual Graduation Progress
How to View a Student’s Individual Graduation Plan Progress
- On the start page, search for and select a student. The most common group is all 12 grade students.
- Under Academics, choose Graduation Plan Progress from the student pages menu. The Graduation Plan Progress page displays the following information for each plan:
- Subject Group, Earned, Enrolled, Requested, Required, Progress
- Click the name of a Subject Group to view additional information
How to View/Print the Individual Graduation Plan Progress for a Group of Students
- On the start page, search for and select a group of students. The most common group is all 12 grade students.
- Choose Graduation Progress Report from the Select a Function for this group of students from the drop down menu
- Click SUBMIT
