The Mission of the Newark Board of Education Special Education is to improve the quality of life for students with disabilities by ensuring each student achieves their fullest potential. Through perseverance, dedication, and collective expertise we will provide equitable opportunities to engage our students in innovative, high quality instruction along with the essential tools, services, and resources to succeed. With a concentrated effort on providing our students with more stability and continuity, new opportunities for inclusion and high quality programs aligned with district efforts our students will reach high standards and close the achievement gap.
