Attendance

Attendance

Attendance must be recognized as an important component of the overall learning strategy for the education of the child. Regular attendance is a prerequisite for the success of the student in his or her academic endeavors that will also pave the way for the future success in higher education and in employment.

Good and regular attendance should be viewed as a constructive habit that when formed early, will become difficult to break. Therefore, it is the mission of the Office of Attendance to adhere to the guidelines and policies that the district and state has adopted to strive for attendance that is on target.
