On September 25th, Central High School became a hub of excitement and opportunity as the Office of Student Life hosted the Newark Board of Education (NBOE) Pre-College Fair. The event drew an impressive turnout of nearly 500 participants, including students, parents, and community partners.

Attendees were presented with a wealth of information regarding community programs to assist with high school and post-high school planning. The fair highlighted various fields, including STEM, creative arts, and mentoring, while also offering a range of engaging activities designed to inspire and inform. Throughout the afternoon, parents received valuable resources, including student-guided documents and materials for voter registration, to help ensure they were well-equipped to support their children's educational journeys.

Hundreds of bookbags and college exploration t-shirts were distributed to students. There were also discussions about students’ futures and the academic preparations necessary to achieve their goals and make a meaningful impact in their lives.
