The Malcolm X Shabazz boys’ soccer team has secured its inaugural Southeastern Conference (SEC) title in the Freedom Division, representing a significant achievement for the program. Under the leadership of Head Coach Jason Hernould, along with Assistant Coaches Roy Muriel and Jayme Alves, the team demonstrated outstanding skill and perseverance throughout the season. Junior Abdoul Konvolbo emerged as a key player, contributing an impressive 15 goals and 2 assists this season, consistently finding the net and playing an essential role in the team's triumph.

On defense, junior goalkeeper Steven Lazo distinguished himself by making 58 saves in just 10 games, reinforcing his status as a formidable force in goal.
