It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as the Assistant Superintendent of Student Support Services for the Newark Board of Education. Our department is committed to ensuring that every student has equitable access to the resources, opportunities, and supports necessary to achieve academic success, personal growth, and lifelong achievement.

Student Support Services encompasses the Offices of Special Education, Student Life, Attendance, Mentor Services, Adult Education, Alternative Education, and our specialized schools serving students with exceptionalities. Together, these offices work collaboratively to remove barriers to learning, promote student well-being, and provide comprehensive services that empower every learner to reach their fullest potential.
