Newark Students Across the District Earn Perfect Test Scores

During the spring of 2024, Newark Board of Education students took the NJSLA and NJGPA state exams. The District is proud to honor 113 students who attained perfect scores on the NJSLA or NJGPA. Among these students, 100 earned a perfect score on the English Language Arts assessment, while 9 earned a perfect score on the mathematics assessment. Additionally, 4 students had the honor of achieving a perfect score on both English Language Arts and Mathematics.    

Congratulations to the following high schools that have been recognized for students achieving perfect assessment scores: American History, Arts, Bard, East Side, Newark School of Data Science and Information Technology, Newark School of Global Studies, Science Park, Technology, and the elementary schools: Ann Street, East Ward Elementary, Elliot Street, First Avenue, Lafayette Street, Mount Vernon, Oliver Street, Park Elementary, Peshine Avenue, Ridge Street, Roberto Clemente, Salomé Urena, South 17th Street, Sussex Avenue, Wilson Avenue. This remarkable achievement highlights the dedication, effort, and enthusiasm that educators, students, and staff contribute to the educational experience on a daily basis.
