High School Students Receive New District Email Accounts

The district has established Office 365 based email accounts for all high school students. Students in grades 9 through 12 will officially be provided with access to their newly established email accounts when they return from Winter Recess in January 2023. As part of this initiative, students’ electronic mailboxes in the district’s Microsoft Office 365 platform have been integrated with their current login credentials which will allow students to gain access to the district’s email system using the same login IDs and passwords that they use to login to their Chromebooks.

The newly established mailboxes will facilitate electronic collaboration among students and teachers including bi-directional feedback on homework and other assignments directly via the email system or through various platforms such as Google Classroom. The new email accounts will also be used in other instructional platforms including the new NJ Transit system for Bus Passes for students as well as the Schoology Learning Management System that the district is piloting and intends to fully deploy next year.
