What a sweet time it was at Newark Vocational High School! Camden Street School Principal Samuel Garrison brought pre-K 4 students and their families to Newark Vocational High School where they made decorated cookies and chocolate lollipops with the help of Principal Karisa Neis-Lopez, Chef Jeffrey Heffner, and seniors Monseratt Moreno-Cruz and Danielle Stamps. Principal Garrison explained that the students read “The Gingerbread Man” in class and that this activity promoted literacy and community engagement as well as culinary arts.
