West Side High School Unveils Innovative Student Business Center

Newark. NJ – Newark Public Schools is proud to announce the grand opening of its state-of-the-art Student Business Center at West Side High School, marking a continued commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and innovation among its students.

The ceremony showcased the cutting-edge facility that will serve as a hub for students to pitch their business ideas, host meetings, and engage in collaborative projects. Equipped with modern amenities and technology, the Student Business Center is poised to help students turn their entrepreneurial aspirations into reality.

Superintendent Leὀn expressed his enthusiasm for the launch of this initiative, stating, “The unveiling of the Student Business Center marks a key moment for West Side High School’s Business & Finance Academy, and of course, its incredible students. This innovative space will not only provide a platform for cultivating entrepreneurial skills but also foster a culture of collaboration and creativity. We are committed to equipping students at the West Side High School’s Business & Finance Academy with the tools and resources they need to succeed in an ever-evolving global economy.”

“The Student Business Center creates an environment where students can explore their interests, gain real-world experience, and provides them access to global markets,” said Board President Council.

The Student Business Center will offer a range of resources and support services to students, including mentorship programs, access to industry partners and experts, and networking opportunities, preparing the next generation of business leaders and innovators.
