Species on the Edge Art and Essay Contest

Over 2000 entries from across the state of New Jersey were submitted in the Conserve Wildlife Foundation Species on the Edge Art and Essay Contest.

Jennifer Molina, 5th grade student at Ann Street School was chosen as the Essex County 1st Place Winner. She, her parents, and science teacher will be honored at the New Jersey Education Association in Trenton, NJ on May 24, 2016.

We are very proud of her accomplishment!

Fifth grade students selected a species of wildlife that is endangered or threatened in New Jersey. They had to research the animal, create artwork, and write an essay about its habits and habitats and why it needs to be protected here in New Jersey.
