On Friday, February 28, Pilar Veru from the Office of Bilingual Education and Dr. Ismael Khalil from Global Studies High School presented at the 71st Annual Northeast Conference in New York. They highlighted the World Language Programs of Newark Public Schools, emphasizing the design of the high school curriculum to promote student achievement. Their discussion focused on the importance of nurturing global citizens from the start of students' coursework all the way through graduation and beyond.
