Although school is officially back in session, Newark Public Schools officials, program directors and teachers are counting on the lasting impact of NPS enrichment programs and opportunities offered to students over the summer. More than 6,000 Newark students participated in the summer programs, while the district also worked with partner organizations to ensure students gained access to distinct opportunities outside of their schools.
