Records & Verification Announcement
Please contact the Talent Office of Records & Verification (“R&V”) via email (email@example.com) or fax (973-733-8113). When practical, R&V will respond to all inquiries via email within two (2) business days. Upon request, R&V staff will make copies of personnel documents. Should you require a copy of your entire personnel file, the return of same may take up to five (5) business days, subject to the volume of your personnel file.
The Office of Records is responsible for accurately storing and filing all Newark Public Schools personnel records. In addition, the department processes all employment verifications for current and previous District employees. All employees can update address/name change information online through Employee Self-Service.
- Per Diem employees should contact the Information Services Desk at 973-733-8700 to obtain a temporary username.
- All Civil Service Employees are encouraged to update their address with the CSC Address Change.
How to Review a Personnel File?
- All forms should be submitted via fax at 973-733-8113 or submitted via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Upon receipt, an Office of Records employee will contact you within 48 hours.
The Records & Verification Office is only responsible for Employee Records. Student Record Requests should be sent to email@example.com. Thank you.
