Speedway's School Uniform

At Speedway Avenue School, uniforms help create a sense of community, pride, and focus on learning. All students are required to wear the Speedway uniform every day, unless granted an incentive or designated “Dress Down Day.”

Uniform Requirements

  • Tops: Burgundy polo shirt

  • Bottoms: Gray khaki pants (belt required), skirts, shorts, or jumpers

  • Footwear: Closed-toe shoes only (no Crocs, flip-flops, or sandals)

  • Accessories: No hats or hoodies may be worn inside the building

Enforcement

The uniform policy is strictly enforced. Students who do not comply will face appropriate consequences as outlined in the school’s discipline policy. Parents/guardians will also be notified.

By working together, we can ensure all students represent Speedway with Phoenix pride and unity each day.

You can purchase uniforms at the Kids Place located at 311 Ferry St, Newark, NJ 07105. See the flyer below, which can be used at any participating stores.
