Biomedical Science
The Biomedical Sciences Cluster introduces students to the fascinating world of health, medicine, and scientific discovery. In these courses, students explore how the human body works, how diseases develop, and how science and technology are used to improve health and save lives. From laboratory experiments and medical research to anatomy and biotechnology, this cluster provides hands-on learning experiences that prepare students for college and careers in healthcare and biomedical fields. Students will study topics such as genetics, microbiology, physiology, and medical ethics while developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and laboratory skills. Through real-world projects and experiments, they’ll learn how to analyze data, diagnose medical problems, and understand the science behind modern medicine.
