This year, more than 2,000 students at East Side High School will experience physical education in a completely revamped gymnasium that now embodies both school spirit and functionality. The school is home to two gym facilities, both of which have undergone comprehensive renovations.

The upgrades include new high-quality flooring, freshly painted walls, updated game lines, and a beautifully designed Red Raiders logo at center court. The gyms also feature modern bleachers and protective wall pads that ensure safety and enhance the game-day experience.

The renovation project wasn’t without its challenges. Lengthy lead times for bleacher installations and environmental safety concerns required careful planning. However, the Facilities Department navigated these obstacles with precision and persistence, coordinating multiple contractors while maintaining a student-centered approach.

The Facilities Department thanks the school administration for their unwavering support.
