Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying (HIB) School Self-Assessment Score
In accordance with New Jersey’s Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act, all schools are required to complete an annual Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying (HIB) Self-Assessment. This assessment measures how effectively a school implements policies, procedures, programs, training, prevention efforts, and interventions related to harassment, intimidation, and bullying.
The HIB Self-Assessment evaluates areas such as staff training, school climate initiatives, reporting procedures, investigations, parent and community involvement, and support services for students. Based on the results of the assessment, each school receives a score that reflects its implementation of the requirements outlined in the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act.
The highest score a school can receive is 78. We are pleased to share the following HIB Self-Assessment scores for our school
- 2023–2024 School Year: 75
- 2024–2025 School Year: 76
We are proud of the progress reflected in our score and remain committed to fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for all scholars. Our school community continues to work collaboratively to promote respect, kindness, and positive relationships while addressing incidents of harassment, intimidation, and bullying promptly and effectively.
We appreciate the ongoing support of our scholars, parents/guardians, families, staff, and community partners as we strive to maintain a positive school climate where every scholar can learn and thrive.
