The Health Office is here to help students identify health concerns and maintain the best possible health.A student’s health status is directly related to his or her ability to learn.
Children with unmet health needs have a difficult time engaging in the educational process. Chronic conditions may impact the student' ability to be in school and learn such as:
- Asthma,
- Anaphylaxis,
- Type 1 Diabetes
- Epilepsy
- Obesity and Mental Health Concerns
- May Impact the Student’s Ability to be in School and Learn.
If your child is sick, please consult a doctor immediately so he/she can return to school as soon as possible. Please submit all doctors’ notes to cover absences. Any questions, please call the health office at 973-733-6921. Please update contact information for your child whenever your phone number changes.
