Art II and Art Therapy students, from Ms. DeStefanos' class, participated in an Autism Awareness Artwork Exhibit with the Office of Special Education. The objective was to create artwork that raises awareness for Autism using the elements of art and principles of design. Students learned how visual communication, symbolism, color, and shape are all important in designing a work of art for a specific cause and communicating information to its viewers.
