Principal
Najie Kennedy earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Adelphi University. She went on to earn a Master of Science in Childhood Education (Grades 1-6) with a specialization in Special Education from Brooklyn College. Mrs. Kennedy began her career teaching in the South Bronx, where she taught for three years before becoming a teacher coach and mentor to new educators, supporting their professional growth and instructional excellence. Driven by a desire to make a greater impact in education, she earned a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from the College of Saint Rose. Mrs. Kennedy most recently served as Vice Principal at Elliott Street School, where she led initiatives to improve student achievement and foster a positive school culture. Now entering her tenth year in education, she is passionate about equity and student success and is excited to continue her leadership journey as a principal, committed to creating an inclusive and empowering learning environment.
