Virtual Career Day comes to Rafael Hernandez Elementary School, thank you to all of our presenters for inspiring our students!

Na'im Lynn
He is a New Jersey native who established himself in Los Angeles, California.Na'im Lynn is an actor and writer, known for Kevin Hart: Laugh at My Pain (2011), Tyler Perry's Assisted Living (2020) and Shameless (2011).

Na’im is one of three members of the Kevin Hart comedy crew The Plastic Cup Boyz who frequently performs as an opening act for Hart.


Tara Williams-Harrington, MBA, CEBS, PHR
Born and raised in New Jersey, she obtained her undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Duke University.

Prior to opening Bricks 4 Kidz Essex County, Tara served as a Sr. Manager in Employee Benefits for large employers such as Brookfield Asset Management, LLC, and Hoffmann-La Roche Inc. in Nutley, NJ.

She started her career in employee benefits at Prudential Healthcare, as a large Group Underwriter, in the Advanced Management Develop Program, and prior to Roche she was a Health and Welfare Consultant with William M Mercer, Inc., in NYC.


Kelly Mulligan Brown, Project Director at Center for Court Innovation
Kelly Mulligan-Brown is a Project Director at Center for Court Innovation based in New York City, New York. Previously, Kelly was a Project Director at New York State Unified Court System.

Ms. Brown also oversees all program operations for Newark Community Solutions, the Newark Youth Court, and the Newark United Against Violence initiative


Marcellis Counts
Marcellis is a native South Ward resident and graduate of University High School. He completed his studies at Seton Hall University where he majored in social behavioral science and social work.

He is the founder of Apiary in the Sky, LLC an organization designed to educate people on the central role of bees and honey products in our food system. As a community organizer, Marcellis is focused on working with residents and partners to advocate for quality, equitable redevelopment and the health and wellbeing of our neighbors.


Sharnita Johnson
Sharnita C. Johnson is the Program Director for the Foundation’s Arts Program, which fosters a diverse and vibrant arts ecosystem, creates broad-based public support of the arts, and supports communities engaged in creative place keeping in New Jersey.

Sharnita also co-directed a $25 million grantmaking portfolio in civic engagement, racial equity, education, health, and entrepreneurship at the W. K. Kellogg Foundation in Michigan. Her arts career began in development at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History and the historic Music Hall Center for the Performing Arts in Detroit.
