“Big Shout out to Global Studies’ Principal For A Day: Maritza Arauz, Executive Director - F.O.C.U.S. Hispanic Center for Community Development, Inc. who arrived early to welcome our students at Ingress in the morning, visited multiple classrooms, attended a PLC and met with the School Leadership Team Members throughout the day. Principal For A Day Arauz shared a grant opportunity via 'Neighbors Helping Neighbors (NHN) 2026 for our students/ parents and discussed ways we could partner with her community-based organization as part of the Lower Broadway Neighborhood. Ms. Arauz said, ‘I loved seeing the students arrive and excited about their day of learning. My day was packed with AM Announcements, class visits and follow up meetings with staff but it was all so rewarding!’ We are so grateful for Ms. Auraz time, enthusiasm and genuine collaboration with our students and staff.
