1. A Bard Pre-Show at 5:00pm, via Webex:

2. A Newark-Wide Prelude to Graduation

5:55 pm Introduction of the Class of 2020 

(Directions: Only Seniors with cap, gown, and diploma cover will report street side in front of where you live. Do not stand in the street.) 

6:00 pm – 6:05 pm Official Notification to Parents and Legal Guardians 

(Directions: Principal will call all Parents and Legal Guardians who’s numbers are in PowerSchool. Parents, Legal Guardians, and Family members who reside with the graduate are to join them curbside.) 

6:05 pm – 6:15 pm Congratulatory Remarks to Parents, Legal Guardians, Graduates, and Families 

(Directions: Parents, Legal Guardians, and Graduates who’s numbers are in PowerSchool will receive a series of congratulatory remarks.) 

6:15 pm Salute to the Graduates and their families by Newark’s Public Safety Department 

(Directions: All first responders will report to your location to congratulate you on this accomplishment.)
