The Newark Literacy Movement

We all know how important literacy is by third grade-that's why I was proud to secure funding to support The Newark Literacy Movement initiative. We're thrilled to continue this exciting effort for a second year! I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Newark Public Schools and the Superintendent for helping to bring the gift of reading to our community. We hope you and your family enjoy this special time together through the joy of reading!

Principal's Message

Dear Students and Families,

Welcome to what promises to be an exciting and successful school year!

As principal, I am honored to welcome back our returning families and to extend a heartfelt welcome to those joining our school community for the first time. Thank you for the trust you place in us and for the partnership that helps our students learn, grow, and thrive.

This year, we will encourage every student to be a proud Peacock who strives each day to become the best version of themselves. We know our students bring many talents and gifts to our school, and we look forward to helping them apply those strengths as they grow academically, socially, and personally.

Together, we will continue to build a school community where students care for and respect themselves and others. Our goal is to make learning engaging, meaningful, and joyful while ensuring that every student feels safe, supported, and valued.

With kindness at the heart of our work, we will create a community where students can grow, dream, and succeed. I am excited for all that we will accomplish together and look forward to a wonderful school year ahead.
