Meet Our Leadership Team

Hamlet Marte
Principal
Principal Marté holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Montclair State University, A Master of Arts for Teachers from Rutgers University/New Brunswick and a Bachelors of Arts in Education from Long Island University. In addition to the successful two years as an elementary school vice principal at Dr. William H. Horton, he also served as a Summer Principal at both Elliot Street School and Mckinley School; both were positions that fueled his desire to impact and intentionally lead a school that services all students, especially those who have been historically underserved.
Accomplishing a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Montclair State University and securing a Provisional Principal Certificate from the state was a huge success for him as an immigrant Latino. Securing a vice principal’s job in one of the most diverse school districts in the country helped him implement fifteen years of instructional, interpersonal and organizational skills. As a principal, he will be able to execute his vision of developing and sustaining a community of respect where teaching, learning and academic achievements occur alongside the safety and best interests of students.
