On Pi Day, people around the world celebrate everyone’s favorite IRRATIONAL NUMBER…Pi! Throughout the day, East Ward students will engage in Pi Themed Activities in their Math and Science Classes.

Dress Like a Scientist Contest (Grades PreK to 2rd)

Get those pocket protectors, lab coats, and safety glasses ready! All Students are invited to come to school dressed as Scientists/ Mathematicians on Pi Day. Prizes will be given to the most creative outfits!

We can’t wait to see all the biologists, chemists, engineers, physicists and mathematicians walking our halls!

Pi Your Teacher Fundraiser (Grades 3rd -7th)

With Pi Day right around the corner, Mr. Pastor has been busy making hundreds of whipped cream pies for our Pi Day Festivities! Since there will be far too many to eat, what should we do with the extras !?!

We have an idea… How many of you would love a chance to pie your favorite teachers?

Well you’re in luck! Because, you could win a chance to PIE your teacher on Pi Day!

Tickets will be on sale Thursday, March 10th through the 14th. A donation of $2.00 gets you 3 raffle entries for your homeroom. Three lucky winners from each homeroom will get a chance to PIE their teacher.
