Vision and Mission
Vision
Our school will develop critical thinkers who can demonstrate, articulate and value knowledge and skills that will support them, as life-long learners, to participate in and contribute to the global world and practice the core values of the school: respect, responsibility and academic excellence.
Mission
The staff at Ann Street School is committed to preparing our students for college, careers, and life. We embrace the belief that all students can learn. Our goal is to provide all children, regardless of socioeconomic status, race, ethnic background or ability, the educational opportunity which will prepare them to successfully develop socially, emotionally, and academically into lifelong learners and responsible, productive citizens. Together, with our school community, we educate and inspire each and every student to come to school every day, become independent learners, and participate actively in a complex and constantly changing, culturally diverse world. We continually strengthen and ensure that our teaching strategies are aligned with state standards and that they are engaging, rigorous, relevant, and implemented consistently. Utilizing students’ skills, talents, and unique abilities, we work to prepare them to meet the demands of an ever-changing and competitive global society.
"Be Respectful, Be Responsible and Get a Good Education"
