Elizabeth Jimenez
Vice Principal
Vice Principal Ms. Jimenez oversees Preschool through 1st grade and is a Newark native as well as a graduate of Newark Public Schools. She has returned to her community to serve, lead, and inspire. Ms. Jimenez holds a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Psychology and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from the Newark-Montclair Leadership Pipeline Program (NMLPP). With more than a decade of experience, she has taught and supported students from Pre-K through upper elementary grades, including roles in homeschooling, phonics instruction, and resource teaching. Her experience also includes work in after-school programs, the Saturday Academy, tutoring, restorative practices leadership, serving as a Teacher to Assist (TTA) for Summer Achieve, and leading the Summer Quest program. These roles reflect her commitment to equity and excellence. She received the Florence Foster Recognition Award from the New Jersey Association for the Education of Young Children. Ms. Jimenez leads with humility and maintains high expectations, believing that every child deserves to be loved, valued, and empowered to succeed and achieve their dreams.

Alexandra Aguiar
Vice Principal
As an experienced Vice Principal, Mrs. Alexandra Aguiar brings extensive leadership to our middle school community, overseeing grades 6-8. Drawing from her administrative expertise, she supervises core academic departments and serves as the School Testing Coordinator, managing all state and district assessments. Her proven track record includes strengthening curriculum alignment, leading professional development initiatives, and fostering inclusive education through close collaboration with ESL/Bilingual programs. A recipient of the Outstanding Potential in Educational Leadership Award (2020), she has consistently demonstrated success in building strong school-family partnerships and creating an environment where every student can excel. Her data-driven approach and commitment to educational equity continue to enhance our school's academic programs and student support services.
