“Picture Me Tomorrow” will be George Washington Carver/Bruce Street School f/t Deaf fifth annual Halloween celebration. Instead of our scholars dressing in the traditional Halloween costumes. On Friday, 31 October our scholars will celebrate our month long focus on what career path each scholar will take to be successful and a productive citizen in the future eg.
Engineer, soldier, fireman…All scholars will write and essay which will be show cased in the halls throughout our school. We ask parents to take the “I will help my child become…..pledge.” These will also be displayed throughout our school. On the 31st they will come dressed as their chosen profession. Grades 1st – 3rd will participate in an in house trick or treat paraded. We will also have professional guess speakers during our meet and greet break-out sessions.
