This session will help parents understand how to help their child with mathematical operations (multiplication, addition, subtraction, and division). Mathematics is not taught the way that most learned, i.e. a set of procedures versus learning mathematics conceptually. The objective of this session is to help parents understand both the how and why mathematics is taught differently and to learn how to help their child by learning mathematics conceptually themselves.
