Session 1: Identifying Support Systems

This workshop is for families/caregivers who wish to better understand the importance of support systems for both adults and students following a traumatic event. Participants will develop an understanding of the role support systems play as an important protective factor for anyone who has experienced trauma. Participants will identify how they can establish themselves as an integral part of their child’s support system, and how they can not only help their children to identify their existing supports, but also add to their support system themselves.
