The Salomé Ureña Girls Who Code Club represented Newark Public Schools at the United States Department of Education Tour on March 30, 2022. The Girls Who Code club showcased their talent and love for coding for the U.S. Deputy Secretary of Education, Cindy Marten. Our school Girls Who Code club is encompassed by a total of nine middle school girls. This extracurricular club supports our strong leaders who strive to extend their knowledge in Computer Science.
