As you’ve probably heard on the news, this flu season has been especially bad with many new cases being diagnosed every day. Some people, such as older adults, young children and people with certain health conditions are at a higher risk for serious flu complications. Basic flu prevention advice includes getting vaccinated against the flu, washing your hands thoroughly and often, covering your cough and sneezes, and keeping yourself or your child home if you or they feel sick. Doctor offices and hospital emergency rooms have been especially busy because of the number of people who have flu-like illnesses. Take action to protect yourself and your family by reviewing the CDC Flu Guide below. Thank you for helping to keep the Ridge Street community healthy and safe!
