Description: SUMMARY FINDINGS The New Central High School is one of only a few proposed schools from the 2005 LRFP to have been funded and constructed by the New Jersey Schools Development Authority (NJSDA). Central High is currently a comprehensive high school. The 2012 facility condition assessment survey finds this 2008 school to be in VERY GOOD physical condition and despite a few lingering post-construction facility issues that were never fully resolved the building is a well-equipped high school. Being new, the Educational Adequacy of the Classrooms and Special Spaces were designed to the 2005 NJDOE FES and therefore score as VERY GOOD. This new 21st Century state-of-the-art school building should serve the district well for many decades to come.
