Description: SUMMARY FINDINGS Camden Street School was designated a Renew School in 2012. The 2012 facility condition assessment survey finds the Camden Street School to be in GOOD physical condition. Although in good condition for its age, the HVAC system terminal units and controls are in poor condition, and numerous ceiling panels and doors are damaged and in need of repair and replacement. The overall Educational Adequacy of the classroom sizes compared to the NJDOE Facility Educational Standards (FES) are GOOD and the Educational Adequacy of the special spaces is GOOD as well. Although the school has a reasonably sized cafetorium, the school does not have a separate dedicated auditorium space for performing arts. With investment to remedy routine deferred maintenance deficiencies this well-constructed late 1960s school building should serve the district well for a number of decades to come.
