Description: SUMMARY FINDINGS Thirteenth Avenue School was designated a Renew School in 2012. The 2012 facility condition assessment survey finds the Thirteenth Avenue School to be in GOOD physical condition. The interior doors, partitions, ceilings and HVAC systems and controls are among the building components that are in need of selective replacement .The overall Educational Adequacy of the classroom sizes compared to the NJDOE FES are GOOD and the Educational Adequacy of the science, technology, visual and performing arts, physical education, and food services special spaces is GOOD as well; although the media center is undersized. With investment to remedy routine deferred maintenance deficiencies this well-constructed early 1970s school building should serve the district well for a number of decades more.
