Big Picture Academy students encouraged to pursue internships and present what they learned to peers, teachers, family and school community members
[Newark, NJ – May 18, 2016] – This Thursday, May 19, Newark Public Schools Superintendent Christopher D. Cerf will visit East Side High School’s Big Picture Academy to observe students present their final exhibitions for the 2015-2016 academic year. Final exhibitions are an assessment through which students are expected to demonstrate their mastery of skills that they developed through the internships that they participated in throughout the school year. Students will present their exhibitions to fellow peers, advisors, school faculty and staff, as well as family members and other East Side High School community members.
