Join us for one of Mayor Baraka’s monthly library visits!
Children with their Parents and Caregivers will:
- Receive their library card and learn how to use the library
- Explore the library to find a book of their choosing to borrow
- Participate in literacy activities
- Receive a free book to keep and a take-home family literacy activity
- Have fun while learning with Mayor Baraka!
Early reading increases the likelihood that children grow up in an environment where books are available and literacy is valued.
