Community

This annual event is an innovative alternative to the traditional Halloween holiday in which students come to school dressed up in something that represents what they want to be when they grow up. Costumes are realistic and display something positive in nature that our children destined to be in the future. Examples of Picture Me Tomorrow costumes include professional athletes, police officers, firefighters, and doctors.
Inclusive of this event, there is an assembly program in the auditorium in which members of the community, who are real-life examples of individuals with actual careers, deliver a positive message to our students. Also as part of the Picture Me Tomorrow program, students participate in a school wide parade and a “Trunk or Treat” celebration. This event takes place on our school playground or in the gymnasium pending weather conditions.
