Adults who are seeking a high school equivalency diploma can participate in the High School Equivalency Program. This course prepares adults to pass the High School Equivalency Test (HiSET) or the General Education Development (GED) exam in order to qualify for a state-issued high school equivalency diploma. The HSE course focuses on instruction in five subject areas: mathematics, science, social studies, language arts writing and language arts reading. This course will also be offered in Spanish at Barringer and East Side High Schools.
