Participants experience the pride of transforming a severely damaged property into a beautiful home for a family of grateful new homeowners. All participants benefit from the less tangible, but equally important lessons in teamwork, dependability, punctuality, and preparedness.

The Culinary Arts program is centered around the students building a solid foundation in basic skills with an emphasis in real world (industry) skills. The student focus on Safety and Sanitation then progress to hands on skills in Savory Cuisine. To round out the program the students are exposed to the Baking and Pastry Arts. These skills are based on industry standards to enable the students a transition from school to the real world in a more effective manner. This makes the students more attractive to industry giving them a better chance at success.
