Mr. Nicholas Malley

His students describe him with words such as Knowledgeable, Flexible, cute, good teacher, and kind.He was born and raised in Long Valley, NJ, and graduated from West Morris Central High School in 2007.  After high school, he went to the University of Scranton (2011) where he majored in Secondary Education and History and earned a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Saint Peter’s University (2017).   While at Scranton, he played two years of varsity lacrosse.    After graduating in 2011, he started middle school social studies at Hackettstown Middle School, and then at DLEACS in Jersey City.  In January 2016, he began teaching AP European History, World History, and United States History and coaching boys’ lacrosse at East Side.  He loves his students and loves being here at East Side.

In 2017, he got married to his wife Lisa.  Their honeymoon was spent in Tahiti, where they toured the French Polynesia, hand fed sharks and stingrays.  He is huge fan of the NJ Devils and NY Jets.  In his free time, Mr. Malley likes to read, cook, and spend time with my friends and family.  So, let’s congratulate our Staff person of the Month, Mr. Nicholas Malley from our History Department.
