After hitting five, 3 pointers in her final game Jailene moved into the elite group of TOP 50 3 point shooters in the state of New Jersey!!

Senior Jailene Aponte hit five 3-pointers to finish with 19 points in her final varsity game to power Newark East Side to a 42-24 victory over Benedictine in Newark.

Charity Smith added 11 points, nine rebounds, six blocks, five assists and five steals for Newark East Side, which finished the season at 9-13, the highest win total the Red Raiders have posted in more than a decade. Sha Dazha Ricketts had six points and eight rebounds.
