The 2018 Back to School Kickoff event is an event aimed at meeting the needs of community members. This event will introduce many community members to several organizations in the community whose focus may be aligned with their needs and stay updated with school information. We plan to giveaway books, school supplies, raffle prizes, and provide important information for the upcoming school year at Thirteenth Avenue/Dr. MLK Jr. School. In addition, we will have several community organizations as vendors (exhibitors) at our event, where they will provide important (useful) information to our families in the community. Children will be able to participate in games and activities, face-painting, bouncy houses, and much more entertainment. There will be free food and music available.
