The focus of this course is placed on developing a student’s listening, comprehension, writing and speaking skills in English. GED Preparation                                                      ABEN 700

This course is developed for those who are interested in obtaining the NJ State issued high school diploma.  The curriculum focuses on enhancing a student’s competency in the five subject areas: Writing, Reading, Math, Social Studies, and Science, as well as, test-taking strategies. The curriculum is aligned to the Common Core State Standards, which reflects college and workplace needed skills. Prerequisite: Minimum of 9th grade on the TABE Survey pre-test, Form 9, Level D. Textbook required at an additional expense to be determined.
