Malcolm X Shabazz High School, in collaboration with The Future Project, sponsored an all-day entrepreneurial workshop. Students who expressed an interest in starting their own business and becoming a sneaker graphic designer were able to participate in this wonderful learning experience. One of the course pathways offered at Malcolm X Shabazz High School is Sports Management and Marketing.
During this workshop, the representatives from Reebok were able to share their experiences and the different opportunities that are available within the sneaker industry. In addition, members of our girls and boys basketball team had the opportunity to participate in the Shaquille O’Neal Reebok new sneaker line commercial. During both activities, students were able to meet individuals and discuss their future goals. It was a privilege to be able connect the dreams of our students with individuals who could provide them with the necessary steps in reaching their goals.
