You Still Have Time to Register Them for the 2018-2019 School Year
[NEWARK, NJ – August 14, 2018] You can still enroll your child in Pre-K at the Newark Public Schools Enrollment Fair on Thursday, August 16, 2018. The Fair will be held at the Central Office, 765 Broad Street (enter on Bank Street) from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.Space is available for children ages 3 and 4 to enroll in the Pre-K Program. The Newark Public School Pre-K Program provides high-quality, free Pre-K in both district and community-based provider pre-schools.
In order to register, please bring the following:
- Proof of age, including a birth certificate, passports, or Baptism certifications),
- 3 Proofs of address (1 within 30 days of 7/25/18 and 2 within the year)
- Immunization Records
- Health/Physical information
There are 5 Newark Public Schools Pre-K sites and 22 Newark Pre-K Providers. A school provider is located in every ward of the city of Newark.
