Guidance Mission Statement
Our mission for the guidance department is to provide a comprehensive program that will assist all students in acquiring skills, knowledge and attitudes needed to become effective students, responsible citizens, productive workers and lifelong learners. The school counseling program addresses the academic, career and personal/social needs of all students and is committed to supporting every student’s unique abilities and to valuing their diversity.
- Guidance counselors are accessible through scheduled appointments, email, voicemail or walk-ins.
- Any student may schedule an appointment with a counselor by coming to the School Guidance Office with a pass from a teacher or an administrator.
- Announcements about college representative visits, fieldtrips, scholarships and all other guidance related activities are made through morning announcements.
- There is updated information posted regularly in the guidance office and on the school website.
