The mission of the Luis Munoz Marin Elementary School Library Media Program is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information. This mission is accomplished:
- By providing intellectual and physical access to materials in all formats
- By providing guidance to foster competence and stimulate interest in reading, viewing, evaluating, and using information and ideas
- By collaborating with the faculty to design research projects, and provide strategies to meet the needs of individual students and classrooms
- By promoting literacy and the enjoyment of reading, viewing and listening
ProQuest offers a complete lineup of classroom- and library-focused, subscription-based research tools. Many of these education solutions offer elementary, middle, and high schools content that is reading level-linked (lexiled), supports 21st-century information literacy, and helps differentiate instruction across all K-12 curriculum areas.
